Special Arbor Day Proclamation 

• Received recognition during the May 8, 2015 Arbor Day celebration by the City of Fernandina Beach to "recognize the contribution towards continuing to maintain and improve the City's tree canopy"

ISA Special Qualification Earned for Tree Risk Assessment

• The International Society of Arboriculture developed a "qualification" for Tree Risk Assessment in 2013 to provide advanced training to its member arborists in this important area.  
• Early earned his Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) in November, 2013 at one of the first 3-day courses offered. 

Attended Tree Inventory Training in November, 2013

• ITree is a program developed by Davey Tree Company in cooperation with the US Forest service.  The program provides a uniform system for developing an tree inventory and assessing the management needs of inventoried trees.  From that "baseline", management needs can be prioritized and budgeted over time. 
• ITree can be used to develop an inventory and management plan for Home Owners Associations and larger communities.   
• One of the attributes of iTree is the ability to determine the gain or loss of canopy cover in communities over time.
